About the role
Keyrus is looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer who is fluent in French to help clients modernise their data platforms. The position is fully remote from Portugal and focuses on large‑scale migrations from Hadoop/Hive to Snowflake within the insurance sector.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in enterprise‑scale migration projects from Hadoop/Hive to Snowflake.
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and near‑real‑time data ingestion.
- Build scalable, optimised Snowflake data models and transformations.
- Work with Snowflake, SQL, Python, PySpark, Snowpark, Spark and Databricks.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance and security throughout migration activities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders across international teams.
- Support continuous improvement and optimisation of enterprise data platforms.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake, including data modelling, performance optimisation and security implementation.
- Proven experience in data migration and modernisation projects.
- Fluent in French.

What we offer
- Daily rate of €250‑€360 or annual gross salary of €40k‑€55k.
