C#/.NET Software Developer (f/m/div.)

About the role

Join Bosch Group in Ovar as a Software Developer focused on C# and the .NET framework. You will create and maintain internal applications that support our employees and improve cross‑department business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable internal software solutions using C# and .NET.
• Manage and optimise MS SQL Server databases for high performance and stability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate user needs into technical specifications.
• Analyse, maintain, and continuously improve legacy code bases.
• Explore and integrate AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance workflow and add smart features.
• Provide 2nd‑level technical support and resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience developing software with C# and .NET.
• Proven experience with MS SQL Server and database design.
• Ability to understand user requirements and convert them into technical plans.
• Strong expertise in backend development and comfort working with legacy systems.
• Interest or initial experience in applying AI tools in software development.
