Artificial Intelligence Engineer (French Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer who is fluent in French to join our growing tech team in Portugal. The role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI agents and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for a variety of internal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI agents using Node.js and/or Python.
• Implement and fine‑tune Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines.
• Deploy AI solutions into production environments and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing products.
• Document code, processes, and best practices.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of professional experience in AI or software engineering.
• Fluent French language skills (advanced).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for cutting‑edge AI technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Node.js.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience creating and deploying AI agents.
• Experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
