Lead Product Manager

About the role

Oyster is looking for a Lead Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and execution of a critical product domain—either Hire & Onboard or Benefits. You will shape customer‑facing experiences, internal tools, and operational workflows that enable companies to employ talent globally with confidence, compliance, and simplicity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive product vision and roadmap for the assigned domain, aligning with company goals and customer outcomes.
• Lead discovery, prioritisation, and delivery of features, balancing new functionality, regulatory requirements, technical debt, and operational improvements.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Go‑to‑Market teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Represent the domain in senior stakeholder forums, communicating trade‑offs, progress, risks, and impact.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities to improve hiring/onboarding efficiency and decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience delivering complex end‑to‑end product areas.
• 3+ years in HR tech, hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, or B2B SaaS.
• Strong product discovery, problem‑framing, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Proven ability to work in multinational, cross‑functional environments and navigate regulatory complexity.
• Hands‑on experience building AI‑powered or automation‑driven features.
