Founding Tech Recruiter (Freelance)

We’re looking for a Founding Tech Recruiter to build out our team as we embark on our next phase of growth. Someone smart — connected to the tech world — that moves, operates fast and efficiently — a superstar, a pirate. You'll operate as a strategic partner in the heart of the startup ecosystem, pioneering how we find, attract, and engage the world’s best talent.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the future of tech hiring by engaging directly with the startup and tech talent community and acting as a visible advocate for Pragmatike.
• Design recruiting systems, processes, and standards from scratch, collaborating with product and engineering to refine our hiring approach.
• Recruit across a variety of functions—from engineering to go‑to‑market—and see the direct impact of your work on the business.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in‑house or at a search agency.
• Comfortable in startup environments, thriving amid ambiguity, rapid iteration, and high growth.
• Clear written and verbal communication, making every candidate feel valued.
• Well‑connected and respected in the recruiting community, with an active personal brand (e.g., LinkedIn).
• Strong focus on quality, processes, and candidate experience.
• Willingness to work flexibly in a fully remote, freelance‑friendly role.
