Senior Director of Product

About the role

As Senior Director of Product for Oyster’s Employer of Record offering, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution across the full EoR lifecycle. You will shape a seamless experience for customers and employees worldwide while leading a remote‑first product team.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for end‑to‑end performance and strategic alignment of the EoR platform, delivering measurable business impact.
• Lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives, securing executive buy‑in and translating vision into measurable outcomes.
• Directly manage and develop a team of Product Managers, setting high standards for discovery and delivery.
• Prioritize across new features, regulatory requirements, tech debt, and operational improvements.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure scalable, high‑quality solutions.
• Use data and insights to inform decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading product managers.
• 4+ years in HR tech, EoR, payroll, compliance, or B2B SaaS within regulated environments.
• Proven ability to set product vision and connect team work to company outcomes.
• Strong systems‑thinking skills to translate complex regulations into automated workflows.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership, hiring, and talent‑development capabilities.
