Senior Network Security Architect (Telecom Sector)

About the role

Devoteam Cyber Trust, the cybersecurity specialist arm of the Devoteam Group, is looking for a Senior Network Security Architect / Engineer to join its Lisbon team in a hybrid setup. You will design, implement, configure, migrate and optimise robust network security solutions, with deep expertise in Check Point technologies and hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure and manage network security solutions in both cloud and on-premises environments
• Lead security architecture evolution, technological upgrades and complex firewall migrations
• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting and optimisation for core network security infrastructure
• Integrate firewalls and security appliances with broader enterprise cloud and network infrastructures
• Act as a subject matter expert giving technical guidance on complex security projects

Required profile

• Proven track record in a senior role managing complex network security implementations and infrastructure projects
• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Strong focus on quality, timely delivery and proactive problem solving
• Creative, adaptable and able to handle complex, high-pressure troubleshooting

Required skills

• Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certification (mandatory)
• Deep knowledge of IP networks, IPv4, IPv6 and data networks
• Strong foundation in advanced architectures and integration infrastructure
• Preferred: advanced security certifications from Palo Alto, Fortinet or equivalent vendors
