UEM Engineer / Ivanti MDM Administrator

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical UEM Engineer / Ivanti MDM Administrator to join its nearshore team in Portugal. You will manage, deploy and maintain unified endpoint management solutions across the corporate mobile fleet (iOS and Android), working with global IT infrastructure teams to ensure device provisioning, security compliance and optimal endpoint performance for a distributed workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (formerly MobileIron Core/Cloud) console daily
• Manage device enrollment and full lifecycle through vendor portals: Apple Business Manager (DEP/VPP), Android Enterprise (Zero-Touch) and Samsung Knox
• Create, test and deploy security compliance rules, configuration profiles (Wi-Fi, VPN, certificates) and user groups
• Package, deploy and update public and internal line-of-business mobile applications
• Act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for complex mobile incidents, analysing logs on Ivanti Sentry gateways and mobile OS
• Provide high-touch "White Glove" support for executive and VIP users
• Maintain integrations with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), PKI, SAML and SSO
• Monitor iOS and Android updates for day-zero readiness and compliance
• Document technical processes, SOPs and knowledge base articles for L1 support, and support onboarding and offboarding workflows

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience administering MDM/UEM solutions, with a strong focus on Ivanti / MobileIron; deep experience in Intune, Workspace ONE or Jamf is also considered
• 3 to 5 years of overall IT experience in Infrastructure or Digital Workplace environments
• Strong knowledge of iOS/iPadOS and Android Enterprise and enrollment architectures (BYOD, COPE, COBO)
• Fluency in English, with excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

• Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, SSO and PKI
• Ivanti Sentry/Access and familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira
