ITALIAN-SPEAKING RECRUITER – Lisbon/Porto (hybrid)

Location: Lisbon or Porto, Portugal Work Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Languages: Italian (Native/Bilingual) and English ABOUT THE POSITION Join a large international organisation as an Italian-Speaking Recruiter and become part of a multicultural Human Resources team based in Portugal. You will manage the recruitment process from sourcing and screening candidates through to interviews and selection, supporting recruitment for technical, commercial, and customer support positions. The position is based in Lisbon or Porto and follows a hybrid working model, with an initial period of on-site work followed by a combination of office and remote work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage the full recruitment process from defining hiring needs to candidate selection * Write and publish job advertisements * Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, and other recruitment channels * Review and assess CVs and applications * Conduct initial screening interviews by phone, video, or in person * Conduct interviews in Italian and English * Prepare interview notes and provide candidate recommendations to hiring managers * Build and maintain talent pools * Carry out preliminary background and reference checks when required * Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS/HRIS * Track recruitment activity and prepare recruitment reports * Work closely with hiring managers and internal teams * Provide candidates with a professional and positive recruitment experience * Maintain confidentiality and professional standards throughout the recruitment process REQUIREMENTS * Native or bilingual Italian proficiency * Excellent professional English * Minimum 1 year of recruitment or talent acquisition experience * Experience in high-volume recruitment is an advantage * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Management, or a related field * Experience using an ATS such as Greenhouse, Workday, Taleo, or similar * Knowledge of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search * Strong organisational and time-management skills * Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong active listening and relationship-building abilities * Ability to work effectively with hiring managers * Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment WHAT WE OFFER * Permanent employment contract * Competitive employment package based on experience and profile * Hybrid working model * Initial on-site training and onboarding * Continuous professional development and training * HR training and certification opportunities * Language development opportunities * Health insurance and employee benefits * Meal allowance / restaurant vouchers * Transport-related benefits * Career development opportunities * International and multicultural working environment WORKING MODEL The position is based in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. An initial period of on-site work is required for onboarding and training. After the initial period, employees can work according to a hybrid model combining office-based and remote work.
