People Operations Partner

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on People Operations Partner to deliver a seamless employee experience for a globally distributed workforce. Based in Portugal, you will own core People Operations activities, from onboarding and off‑boarding to day‑to‑day support, while ensuring processes stay consistent, compliant, and locally relevant.

Key responsibilities

• Process a high volume of employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, transfers, compensation changes, and off‑boarding.
• Support employees and managers across multiple countries, applying global People processes and adapting to local nuances.
• Provide day‑to‑day benefits assistance, handling enrollments, life‑event changes, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain accurate, audit‑ready employee records in HRIS and related systems.
• Act as the first point of contact for People policies, processes, benefits, and system queries.
• Prepare, clean, and analyze People data for dashboards and reporting.
• Contribute to HRIS and ATS improvements, workflow redesign, policy rollouts, and audit preparation.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and documentation to reduce manual work while preserving privacy and accuracy.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Coordination, or a closely related role.
• Hands‑on experience with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Experience supporting a global or multi‑country workforce, or the ability to quickly learn local requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and reliable follow‑through.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Basic data analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to leverage AI and automation tools for process improvement.
