HR Business Analyst – Process Automation Specialist

About the role

The HR Business Analyst & Automation role will drive digital transformation of HR processes within Airbus Portugal. You will design AI‑assisted workflows and build low‑code applications to simplify and automate routine tasks, partnering closely with HR stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design AI‑generated solutions using generative tools (e.g., Gemini) to create functional workflows from natural‑language prompts.
• Develop low‑code/no‑code applications and forms with platforms such as Google AppSheet and Apps Script.
• Identify process bottlenecks, redesign HR workflows and implement automation to eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Test, troubleshoot and refine automated solutions to ensure reliability and user‑friendliness.
• Document solutions, produce user guides and train HR teams on new digital tools.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and GDPR data‑protection standards.

Required profile

• Strong AI and prompting mindset, able to translate plain‑language instructions into automation logic.
• Experience with low‑code/no‑code platforms, preferably Google AppSheet or Apps Script.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous‑improvement orientation.
• Project‑management and agile working experience in cross‑functional, global teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
