Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). We are seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert – Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist to integrate gender equality and social inclusion across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access.

Key responsibilities

• Support the systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion considerations across all programme activities.
• Ensure gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.

Required skills

• Fluent English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese.
• Gender analysis and development of sex‑disaggregated indicators.
• Designing gender‑responsive approaches and facilitating inclusive stakeholder participation.
• Gender‑responsive communication and training.
