Floor Supervisor - Housekeeping

About the role

Four Seasons Lisbon is looking for a Floor Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team in its historic hotel in the heart of Lisbon. The supervisor inspects the work of Room Attendants and House Attendants, schedules daily work, monitors progress and ensures guest floors are clean and ready.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the work of Room Attendants and House Attendants, ensure standards are met and train and coach staff as needed
• Schedule daily work, collect room and floor status sheets, coordinate work orders and follow up until rooms are released for sale
• Monitor Linen Runners, check supplies on guest floors and the cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, elevators and linen closets
• Inform the Maintenance team promptly of any issues and handle guest complaints, informing management
• Follow the daily room occupancy forecast and organize daily work and labour needs
• Hold daily briefings, cooperate with other departments and outsourced staff, and assist in public areas, back of house, Spa and Laundry during absences or high volume

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience in a luxury housekeeping department
• Authorization to work in an EU country
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Portuguese and English

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to give feedback to employees and management
