Restaurant Director

About the role

Four Seasons Lisbon is looking for a Restaurant Director to ensure an exceptional dining experience that meets Four Seasons' standards of service and quality. You will manage the daily operations of the restaurant, keeping product knowledge, consistency and guest engagement high, working closely with the Assistants and the Director of Food & Beverage and other managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team management, including hiring, training, supervision and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with culinary and F&B leadership on menu development, marketing and guest feedback
• Drive financial performance through revenue forecasting, payroll preparation, cost control and profitability strategies
• Control costs through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing and inventory management
• Maintain consistent service standards, anticipate supply needs and monitor facilities and equipment
• Act as a guest relations ambassador, handling special requests and complaints professionally
• Recognise and motivate team members

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in food and beverage management, supported by a bachelor's degree
• Extensive restaurant leadership experience in luxury hotels, stand-alone restaurants or restaurant groups
• Fluent Portuguese and English, and work authorization in a European country
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and holidays

• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits and mixology
