Electromechanic Technician / Electrician

About the role

Four Seasons Lisbon is hiring an Electromechanic Technician and an Electrician. The technician handles preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment such as motors, starters, breakers and chillers, and responds to guest requests and emergencies. The electrician must be certified and legally qualified, with a valid professional license or equivalent certification recognized in the EU.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and handle preventive maintenance of all equipment and update the appropriate logs
• Diagnose and repair equipment, including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the building
• Respond to guest calls about room and public area maintenance in a timely manner
• Respond to emergencies such as fires and power failures
• Clean engineering stations, grease traps and plumbing stoppages, and keep the department and hotel organized
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations

Required profile

• One to two years of previous experience
• For the technician: technical training or certification in Electromechanics, Maintenance or a related field recognized in the EU
• For the electrician: certified and legally qualified electrician with a valid license or equivalent certification recognized in the EU
• Fluent Portuguese required; English preferred
• Authorization to work in a European country
• Previous hotel or luxury brand experience preferred

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and specifications
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, electrical panels, kitchen and laundry equipment
• Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation controls valued
• Electrical safety procedures and use of power and hand tools
