Performance Tester

About the role

The Performance Tester will work closely with the Head of QA to design, develop and execute performance, load and stress tests that ensure software applications and infrastructure meet stability and performance standards before production release.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and run integration, stress, load, regression and performance test cases and scripts.
• Automate load and performance testing across multiple messaging protocols, including HTTP.
• Track and communicate test progress, status and key performance metrics.
• Report defects accurately using standard defect‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, scrum masters, project managers and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Provide performance testing support and mentorship to distributed project teams.
• Assist developers with root‑cause analysis of performance‑related defects.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with performance test simulations and analysis.
• Ability to plan and execute end‑to‑end test cycles.
• Strong communication skills and a respectful, inclusive attitude.
• Motivational leadership qualities to support team performance.
