API Back-End Developer

About the role

We are looking for an API Back-End Developer to own and evolve the infrastructure behind our odds‑feed API, a core component that powers real‑time data delivery. You will work on performance‑critical systems where reliability and low latency are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise PostgreSQL‑based databases.
• Maintain and improve data‑mapping and scheduling pipelines.
• Contribute to, scale and maintain our web‑scraping network.
• Design, build and enhance API infrastructure with a focus on performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills (mandatory).
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Git, Node.js, React, Supabase and API design is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – you identify problems and fix them proactively.
• Interest in sports data is a bonus.
