Snowflake Data Engineer – French Speaker

About the role

Keyrus is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer who is fluent in French to support a large‑scale data migration for an insurance client. The role combines data engineering, cloud transformation and cross‑functional collaboration in a fully remote setting based in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in enterprise‑wide migration from Hadoop/Hive to Snowflake.
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and near‑real‑time data ingestion.
• Develop scalable Snowflake data models, optimise performance and implement security controls.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance and security throughout migration activities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders across international teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the enterprise data platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Fluent in French and able to work in English.
• Proven experience delivering data migration and modernisation projects.
• Strong autonomy, problem‑solving skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
