House Manager (Personal & Household Operations)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced House Manager to support a busy entrepreneur and their family in Lisbon. The role combines personal logistics, travel coordination, calendar and inbox management, and household operations to create a seamless daily environment for the principal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics, errands, bookings, purchases and returns.
• Coordinate appointments, suppliers, deliveries and household services.
• Develop and maintain systems, checklists and routines for smoother life management.
• Conduct daily priority reviews with the principal to address decisions and open loops.
• Protect and manage the principal’s calendar, schedule meetings and personal appointments.
• Filter emails, draft replies and, when trusted, respond on behalf of the principal.
• Reduce communication noise and follow‑up to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Plan and execute travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transport, itineraries and packing lists.
• Travel ahead of or alongside the principal to verify accommodations, transport, gym access and local logistics.
• Resolve travel‑related issues proactively to ensure seamless experiences.

Required profile

• Proactive, discreet and service‑oriented.
• Highly organized with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with household staff and external providers.
