Senior Legal Counsel – Contracts

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specialized in contracts to join our global legal team. The role will act as a trusted legal partner to business units, delivering practical, commercially‑savvy advice on a wide range of contractual matters while supporting the company’s growth across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on contract‑related issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize diverse agreements with counterparties worldwide.
• Support the preparation and negotiation of term sheets, letters of intent and final‑form contracts.
• Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle, including internal approvals, execution and record‑keeping.
• Advise business teams on template usage, improve standard documentation and maintain structured legal repositories.
• Prepare internal updates, reports on contract flow and legal project status.
• Conduct legal quality checks and ensure compliance steps are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with other legal team members on cross‑functional initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree (advanced degree advantageous).
• 7+ years of experience in contracts, legal operations, corporate secretarial or a comparable legal function.
• Background in a reputable international company, multi‑jurisdictional in‑house environment or leading law firm.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions.
• Fluent in Russian and English, both written and spoken.
