Procurement Contract Manager

About the role

Airbus Portugal is seeking a Procurement Contract Manager to lead the creation, negotiation and administration of standard procurement contracts. You will work closely with commodity buyers and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet economic, commercial, technological, legal and risk‑management requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft new standard procurement contracts and continuously improve existing templates.
• Prepare negotiation strategies, draft contract terms and support buyers during contract negotiations.
• Manage contract amendments, settlement agreements and the contract validation form throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Conduct contractual analysis during administration and resolve disputes with suppliers.
• Provide specialised contract expertise to non‑procurement functions, advising on confidentiality, IP and other legal aspects.
• Develop and deliver Procurement Academy training and coach junior buyers on contracts and negotiations.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum 5 years) in Business, Law, Economics or Engineering.
• Experience in procurement and contract negotiation is desirable.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional fluency in French, German or Spanish is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and travel on short notice when required.
