Regional Operations Lead – Operations Manager

About the role

Indie Campers is seeking a Regional Operations Lead to drive operational excellence across a defined region. Reporting to the Regional Director and the Operations Strategy Director, you will translate strategic goals into day‑to‑day execution, ensuring high customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational processes across the region, coordinating with local depots and Operations Analysts.
• Ensure full compliance with standard operating procedures, particularly in health & safety, facilities, stock management, and service delivery.
• Monitor core KPIs such as customer satisfaction, ancillary availability, and operational efficiency, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as the right‑hand of the Regional Director and serve as the BROM’s replacement during absences.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Analysts through one‑on‑one meetings, team check‑ins, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with the People team on hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives.
• Serve as the primary regional contact for key suppliers (laundry, cleaning, gas, real estate, etc.), lead procurement negotiations, and ensure SLA compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management within a logistics or transport environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and drive results.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on KPI‑driven performance.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
