Supply Chain Management Planning Expert

About the role

Join Webasto Portugal’s Business Service Center in Lisbon as a Supply Chain Management Planning Expert. You will drive the analysis, design and optimisation of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes, ensuring seamless integration of digital tools and cost‑effective logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document global business needs and translate them into sophisticated technology solutions.
• Design, control and optimise supply‑chain processes, including packaging, warehousing and transportation.
• Perform logistics cost calculations, negotiate costs with internal supply centres, external warehouses and customers.
• Support supplier decisions by evaluating total landed cost of transport concepts.
• Collaborate with IT and third‑party vendors to deliver digital supply‑chain solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes (planning, warehousing, transportation, imports/exports).
• Experience documenting business needs and converting them into digital solutions.
• Analytical mindset with strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Planning/WMS/TMS tools.
• Business Intelligence tools, especially Power BI.
• APICS or Lean Six Sigma certifications (a plus).
