Supply Chain Consultant (Central Inventory Management)

About the role

Excelia is looking for a Supply Chain Consultant specialized in Central Inventory Management to join its Porto office. The role will support global supply‑chain projects, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, and help implement best‑practice processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in supply‑chain projects and continuous‑improvement processes to meet current and future requirements.
• Define and implement excellence processes, best practices, and standards for supply‑chain management.
• Support functional departments in change implementation and project execution.
• Assist in the development and rollout of SCM‑related IT solutions, including SAP PP and SAP IBP.
• Promote integrated business planning and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Manage the benefits database and share best practices for centralized inventory management.
• Define and monitor KPIs and OPIs, and provide demand‑coordination structures.
• Develop supply‑chain solutions to satisfy customer requirements and legal obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Consultant with a focus on Central Inventory Management.
• Proven experience in global material‑flow management, process design, and system rollouts.
• Project‑management and change‑management experience.
• Consultancy background with strong financial acumen.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• SAP PP (ECC) knowledge.
• SAP IBP knowledge.
