Performance & Talent Specialist

About the role

Santander is looking for a Performance & Talent Specialist to join its Talent & Employee Experience team in Lisbon. The role will support the annual performance cycle, ensure consistent execution across the organization, and contribute to broader talent and culture initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end‑to‑end annual performance cycle, managing timelines, governance and execution quality.
• Support managers, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders throughout all phases of the process.
• Organise calibration and alignment sessions across business areas.
• Monitor KPIs, performance metrics and ensure data quality across HR platforms.
• Collaborate with the global Performance Center of Excellence to implement processes, frameworks and strategic initiatives.
• Adapt global guidelines to the local context, ensuring compliance and alignment.
• Participate in talent review, succession planning and cross‑functional People & Culture projects.
• Provide analysis and insights related to talent, performance and engagement.
