About the role
Santander is looking for a Performance & Talent Specialist to join its Talent & Employee Experience team in Lisbon. The role will support the annual performance cycle, ensure consistent execution across the organization, and contribute to broader talent and culture initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end annual performance cycle, managing timelines, governance and execution quality.
- Support managers, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders throughout all phases of the process.
- Organise calibration and alignment sessions across business areas.
- Monitor KPIs, performance metrics and ensure data quality across HR platforms.
- Collaborate with the global Performance Center of Excellence to implement processes, frameworks and strategic initiatives.
- Adapt global guidelines to the local context, ensuring compliance and alignment.
- Participate in talent review, succession planning and cross‑functional People & Culture projects.
- Provide analysis and insights related to talent, performance and engagement.
Required profile
- Strong execution capabilities with a structured, analytical mindset.
- Ability to navigate complex corporate environments and drive consistent processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
