About the role
We are seeking a proactive Helpdesk Technician to join a temporary project for one of our clients in Portugal. In this role you will be the first point of contact for end‑users, delivering prompt technical assistance and helping to keep the client’s IT environment running smoothly. You will work closely with the client’s internal IT department and other support teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support to end‑users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex problems to senior teams when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain service quality and continuity.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a user‑focused mindset.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Valid driving licence and access to a car.
- Enthusiastic and eager to contribute to a dynamic project.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of VMware.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
