Group Lead Buyer IT Services – French Speaker

About the role

BNP Paribas is seeking a Group Lead Buyer for IT Services who will act on behalf of internal clients to purchase technology services, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve savings targets. The role requires fluency in English and French and a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support and challenge internal BNP Paribas entities on their purchasing requests, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and timely processing.
• Define IT Services procurement strategies and action plans for internal stakeholders.
• Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) or direct negotiation processes for fixed‑price projects and analyse supplier offers.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual conditions to meet savings objectives.
• Prepare general conditions and application contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, BNP Paribas standards and framework agreements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics or Law.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, finance or operations, preferably in a digital or technology‑focused environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Knowledge of fixed‑price IT Services procurement and contract management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
