Project Manager – Program Leadership & Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic program for a client in Lisbon. The role focuses on delivering complex HR‑IT and digital transformation initiatives, including Workday implementations and M&A programs, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple related projects to meet strategic business objectives.
• Define program road‑maps, success metrics, and detailed execution plans.
• Partner with senior executives and cross‑functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Establish governance structures, produce status reports and performance dashboards.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and inter‑dependencies throughout the program lifecycle.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocations and vendor relationships.
• Drive continuous process improvement and promote best‑practice delivery.
• Mentor project managers and foster collaboration across global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years of total experience with 6–10 years in program or project management leadership.
• Proven experience in HR‑IT, Payroll, Workday or similar enterprise HR system implementations.
• Hands‑on exposure to M&A programs and enterprise‑level digital transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and leadership abilities.
