Cybersecurity Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Coordinator to lead the security strategy for a leading company in the football sector. You will be responsible for aligning security initiatives with business objectives and the digital transformation roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the cybersecurity strategy in line with organisational goals.
• Maintain ISO 27001 certification, including internal audits, risk analysis and treatment plans.
• Manage a 12‑month cybersecurity roadmap, set priorities, milestones and budget.
• Coordinate external security providers such as SOC, penetration testing firms and compliance consultants.
• Oversee information security policies, access controls, incident management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Monitor threat landscape and ensure defenses are up‑to‑date and tested.
• Report maturity, risks and mitigation plans to the Technology Department and Executive Board.
• Promote a security‑aware culture through training and communication.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data‑protection regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a coordinating or leadership role.
• Proven experience with ISO 27001 implementation or maintenance.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CEH) are highly valued.
• Fluent Portuguese and good English communication skills.
