Staff Technical Recruiter – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

The Staff Technical Recruiter will lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for technical positions across international markets. Working remotely from Portugal, you will partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to shape hiring strategies and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full‑cycle recruitment process for engineering, machine‑learning and other specialized technical roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define workforce needs, develop hiring strategies and advise on market trends.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking and candidate engagement.
• Coordinate interviews, manage communications and ensure a smooth recruitment process across multiple time zones.
• Design scalable recruiting processes, enhance employer branding and implement recruiting tools and systems.
• Use recruitment metrics and feedback to continuously improve hiring performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor and ambassador of company culture, identifying candidates who align with organizational values.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably in fast‑growing tech companies or startups.
• Proven success hiring highly specialized technical talent such as engineers and machine‑learning experts.
• Strong experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment and partnering with senior stakeholders on strategic hiring decisions.
• Ability to build scalable recruiting systems and leverage AI‑powered sourcing tools.
• Experience recruiting across multiple countries within remote, international organizations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use recruitment data to drive improvements.
