Software Engineer - Backend, Python & React

About the role

Intapp builds cloud software for professional firms in highly regulated industries such as legal, accounting, consulting and private capital. The AIDO team builds the shared services behind its products and operations: backend services, APIs, data platforms and internal tools. As a Software Engineer you will work alongside DevOps and SRE engineers and own features from database to UI, serving both internal users and Intapp's clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services, designing stable, versioned APIs and handling multi-tenant data safely
• Develop Python services with Django and FastAPI, including REST APIs and MCP servers
• Build React and TypeScript web applications for data-heavy internal tools and dashboards
• Design ClickHouse data models, including materialized views, aggregations, schema migrations and query tuning
• Build data pipelines and scheduled jobs that move and transform data across services and cloud storage
• Implement authentication, authorization and role-based access control
• Contribute to platform automation and tooling used by engineering teams
• Deploy code to Kubernetes on Azure and AWS via Helm charts, CI pipelines and GitOps, and keep the codebase healthy with tests and code review

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development with production experience on both backend and frontend
• Strong Python, ideally with hands-on experience in Django and/or FastAPI
• Solid TypeScript and React, including state management and data fetching
• Good SQL skills and an understanding of analytical workloads
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure or AWS)
• Clear written communication in English and comfort working with non-engineering stakeholders

Required skills

• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes, including Helm charts and deployment logs
• Git, CI/CD and automated testing
• Nice to have: ClickHouse, materialized views, Apache Arrow, Parquet, Redis-compatible caching, LLM tooling and multi-tenant SaaS experience
