SAP PP/QM Consultant

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care's IT Enterprise Solutions department is looking for an SAP PP/QM Consultant in Porto. The role ensures reliable and efficient production order management in SAP S/4HANA, stabilizing end-to-end manufacturing execution and supporting business users through L2/L3 sustain operations. It covers integration across Plan-to-Make, supply chain planning, shop-floor execution and quality modules.

Key responsibilities

• L2/L3 support for SAP S/4HANA production orders: creation, release, component staging, consumption and confirmation
• Keep the EWM system integrated for staging, consumption and goods receipt booking
• Support master data governance for routing, BOMs, work centres, production versions, planning parameters, classifications and PP/DS and MRP attributes
• Analyse execution issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure integration between ePP/DS, MM, APO/IBP, QM and EWM
• Manage change requests and enhancement deployments in line with global process owners and IT governance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and guide production managers and workers

Required profile

• 6-9 years in production planning and execution
• 4+ years hands-on SAP PP (S/4HANA preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing environments across discrete and process industries
• GBS/CoE or sustain operations experience preferred
• Fluent English

Required skills

• SAP PP (S/4HANA preferred)
• Knowledge of QM and EWM
• Understanding of PP/DS-MM-QM-EWM-CO integration
• Production-related sub-processes such as staging and consumption in EWM
