Senior Content Engineer - Slots Brand

About the role

Blexr, a lead-generation company for iGaming founded in 2015, is hiring a Senior Content Engineer in Lisbon. You will act as the editorial and technical owner of one of its flagship slots brands, shaping its voice, its slots content strategy and the systems that produce accurate, branded content at scale. The brand has grown through many writers over the years and now needs a single, recognisable tone of voice across reviews, news articles and on-site communication, applied through a proprietary AI content platform. The role reports to the Head of SEO & Content.

Key responsibilities

• Own the slots content strategy: which slots, providers, themes and mechanics to cover, how to prioritise them and how content evolves with market and player trends.
• Design how slot pages and reviews are created, including structured data, content models and editorial rules, and partner with SEO and analytics specialists on what to create, update, expand, consolidate or retire.
• Define a single, consistent tone of voice and turn it into style guides, examples, rules and prompt components usable at scale through the AI platform.
• Lead the restyling of legacy content and design evaluation frameworks for brand alignment, voice consistency, accuracy, completeness, SEO and regulatory compliance.
• Develop content-product initiatives such as slot tournaments and tailored recommendations, working with Product, Commercial and other stakeholders and defining success metrics.
• Turn priorities into quarterly plans, coordinate delivery across Content, SEO, Product, Commercial, Data and Engineering, and manage risks and dependencies.
• Run a continuous improvement loop: performance data, quality evaluation and user signals feed back into prompts, templates, data and review processes, and lead controlled experiments on models, prompts and templates.
• Monitor and observe workflows, investigate complex production issues and set the balance between automated validation and human oversight.
• Set standards for AI prompting, mentor Content team members, raise team capability and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Deep, hands-on knowledge of online slots, including mechanics, features, volatility, RTP, providers and release trends.
• Ability to work as a senior individual contributor at the intersection of content, brand, SEO, product, data and technology.
