Product Growth (Monetisation) Manager
Aperture
Job description
About the role
Aperture is a growth consultancy and advertising partner for apps, platforms and digital products, working across performance marketing, creative strategy, product optimisation, CRM, analytics and experimentation. It is looking for a Monetisation Manager with deep, hands-on experience growing subscription-based mobile apps. You will lead monetisation strategy and experimentation across a portfolio of clients, covering onboarding, paywalls, pricing, plans, trials, offers, product gating, retention and cancellation.
Key responsibilities
- Audit clients' monetisation models, subscription infrastructure, funnels, analytics and experiment history, then build prioritised roadmaps.
- Configure and manage products, entitlements, offerings, paywalls, placements, audiences, targeting and experiments in RevenueCat and Adapty.
- Lead experimentation across pricing, plans, trials, offers, onboarding, paywalls, product gating, localisation, cancellation and web-to-app journeys.
- Design rigorous tests with clear hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, audiences, traffic allocation and decision criteria.
- Analyse the full subscription funnel, from conversion and trial-to-paid through renewal, churn, revenue and LTV, and reconcile data across RevenueCat, Adapty, app stores, product analytics, attribution platforms and warehouse data.
- Turn behavioural data, customer research and commercial insight into experiments, working with design, product, engineering, analytics and CRM teams.
- Present clear recommendations and results to clients, document every experiment and contribute learnings to Aperture OS.
Required profile
- Significant experience monetising consumer subscription apps on iOS and Android, with proven impact on conversion, revenue or retention.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in RevenueCat and Adapty, including configuring subscription products, paywalls and experiments.
- Strong knowledge of App Store and Google Play subscriptions and rigorous A/B testing, from design and sample size to revenue maturity.
- Excellent analytical and commercial judgement, including interpreting funnel data and diagnosing tracking issues.
- Clear, confident client communication and a proactive approach to managing multiple workstreams.
- Particularly valuable: experience with Superwall, Purchasely or similar platforms; product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase or PostHog, plus SQL or event-level analysis; web-to-app monetisation, localisation, cancellation flows and churn reduction; and working across multiple clients in a consultancy or agency.
