Senior Consultant - Credit Systems

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Senior Consultant to join Linedata Portugal’s fintech team. You will help banks and lenders implement and optimise mission‑critical credit and lending platforms, turning complex business needs into robust software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and prioritise business requirements, map existing credit processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create functional specifications, workflow diagrams and collaborate with development and architecture teams to design scalable solutions.
• Configure, parameterise and integrate Linedata modules with third‑party systems such as APIs, data feeds and core banking interfaces.
• Develop and execute test plans, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and monitor post‑implementation performance.
• Produce user documentation, training materials and deliver training sessions to end‑users.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fintech or credit‑system implementations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful delivery.
