Senior Android Developer

About the role

Next Engineering is looking for an experienced Android Developer to join its remote‑first team. You will work on innovative mobile solutions that power the company’s industry‑transforming products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications and shared mobile components.
• Contribute to scalable, modern mobile architectures using Kotlin and Jetpack technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional product, design and backend teams in a product‑oriented environment.
• Ensure code quality through testing, performance optimisation and continuous delivery practices.
• Support ongoing product evolution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin; experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Motivation to work remotely and deliver high‑quality software.
