International Account Manager – Wholesale (Remote, Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for an International Account Manager to lead and expand our wholesale retail portfolio remotely from Portugal. In this role you will own customer relationships, drive sales, and coordinate order fulfillment across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of wholesale retail accounts.
• Build relationships with buyers, planners, and merchandising teams.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and expand product placement.
• Enter and manage customer orders through EDI systems and portals.
• Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and fulfillment to ensure accurate, on‑time shipments.
• Resolve order issues, inventory shortages, and customer concerns quickly.
• Travel to customer meetings, retail locations, and 4–6 furniture markets or trade shows each year.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of wholesale account management or outside sales experience, preferably in home décor, furniture, or consumer products.
• Experience managing large retail accounts and growing sales.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
• Use of retailer order portals.
