Instock Associate – First Shift

About the role

The Instock Associate works the first shift in a Walmart distribution center, focusing on unloading trucks and moving new freight to the sales floor. Most of the time is spent in the backroom, ensuring shelves are replenished quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and verify incoming merchandise.
• Stock new items on shelves and in designated locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom environment.
• Operate material‑handling equipment, such as forklifts, when required.
• Lift and move items weighing more than 50 lb safely.

Required profile

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Willingness to work a full‑time, first‑shift schedule.
• Reliability and punctuality in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (when needed).
