Human Resources Specialist

About the role

As an HR Specialist in the Employer of Record (EOR) space, you will serve as a strategic partner for clients expanding across Southern Europe. You will own the full employee lifecycle, provide in‑country HR expertise, and ensure compliance, smooth operations, and growth for our global employment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations, delivering a compliant employee experience.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases, attend calls/meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Provide first‑point‑of‑contact consultation on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning for clients.
• Stay up‑to‑date with labor laws and cultural nuances in Southern Europe and deliver actionable guidance.
• Review employment contracts, advise on risk mitigation, and support performance‑improvement plans and salary changes.
• Coordinate immigration and mobility requests in partnership with the Global Mobility team.
• Identify delegable tasks, document processes, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
• Drive automation, AI adoption, and process optimisation to streamline HR operations.
• Lead compliance governance projects across Southern Europe markets and contribute to global HR standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of HR experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong knowledge of Southern Europe labour legislation and cultural contexts.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive employee‑relations matters and termination processes.
• Experience working with payroll, benefits, and HR legal partners.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
