HR Generalist

About the role

SideSide is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to partner with employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You will act as a trusted point of contact, delivering expert advice on HR matters while helping to build an engaging, high‑performing workplace within a global video‑game development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice on absence, health issues, conduct, capability, grievances, organisational change and other employee‑relations matters.
• Coach managers on HR policies, processes and effective people‑management practices.
• Support and manage employee‑relations cases, including complex investigations.
• Maintain accurate HR administration, including HRIS data entry, employee records, audits and compliance checks.
• Assist with onboarding activities such as contractual documentation, Right‑to‑Work checks and inductions.
• Facilitate performance appraisal processes, including standards, evaluations, improvement plans and development initiatives.
• Help develop, improve and implement HR policies, procedures and people processes.
• Support HR reporting, metrics, queries and system enhancements.
• Act as primary backup for payroll processing and updates.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and overall workplace culture.
