HR Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to own the local HR function in our growing international operation in Braga. This hands‑on role combines strategic business partnering with strong operational execution and significant autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve local HR processes, policies, reporting, and employee‑lifecycle practices.
• Partner with local leadership on workforce planning, organisational matters, employee relations, and people‑related decisions.
• Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits practices aligned with the local market and business needs.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and support broader talent, development, and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese employment legislation while proactively identifying and implementing practical HR improvements.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role.
• Proven experience independently managing HR for a mid‑sized organization, business unit, or local operation.
• Strong track record implementing and improving HR processes, policies, reporting, compensation, and people initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation combined with excellent stakeholder management and business‑partnering skills.
• Experience in an international environment, preferably with Shared Services or BPO, and fluency in Portuguese and English.
