About the role
This remote position supports end‑to‑end HR operations while ensuring workforce practices meet regulatory and organisational standards. You will work within a purpose‑driven environment, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to build efficient people processes.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks and employment documentation.
- Manage onboarding processes, ensuring documentation, training and orientation are completed efficiently.
- Track and maintain compliance requirements such as certifications, background checks, insurance documentation and workforce‑related obligations.
- Maintain accurate compliance, training and employee records to ensure audit readiness.
- Organise and coordinate internal and external training programmes, including eLearning and professional development initiatives.
- Manage workforce scheduling, including roster updates, shift changes, leave coverage and operational coordination.
- Conduct internal audits of employee records and organisational processes to identify improvements and maintain compliance.
- Support employee engagement through regular check‑ins, feedback collection, recognition programmes and team communication.
- Assist with policy updates, compliance reviews, reporting and documentation aligned with industry standards.
- Collaborate with external training providers to support professional development pathways.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, compliance, workforce coordination or a related role within disability services, community services or healthcare.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and relevant Australian workplace regulations.
- Experience managing onboarding, training coordination, employee documentation and compliance tracking.
- Knowledge of workforce awards and employment standards, including familiarity with the SCHADS Award.
- Proven ability to conduct internal audits, prepare reports and maintain accurate records for leadership review.
Required skills
- Understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
- Familiarity with Australian workplace regulations and the SCHADS Award.
- Experience with internal audit processes and compliance reporting.
