HR Business Partner / HR Director (Remote)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Director to lead the Core Business Unit’s people strategy. Working remotely with globally distributed teams, you will ensure the unit’s workforce is aligned with the company’s strategic and financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure personnel effectiveness and contribution to strategic objectives.
• Manage staffing levels, oversee probation completions, and maintain satisfaction with hires.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
• Implement and enforce HR processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor and report on manager and employee satisfaction with HR services.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of HR Business Partner or HR Director experience in an international digital/IT environment.
• Proven ability to execute the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, training, succession planning, performance evaluation, and termination.
• Experience managing payroll budgets, turnover, efficiency, engagement, and loyalty metrics, with hands‑on C&B and analytics.
• Strong project‑management skills, goal‑oriented mindset, and resilience under uncertainty.
• Fluent in both Russian and English.
