HR Associate – French & English Speakers (Lisbon)

About the role

Join Thales' HR Shared Service Center in Lisbon and become the first point of contact for employees and managers across multiple countries. You will support French‑speaking HR operations for Belgium while delivering a consistent, high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the friendly first contact for all HR‑related queries from employees and managers.
• Guide new joiners from offer letter through onboarding and beyond.
• Maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
• Support international teams with onboarding, mobility, and day‑to‑day HR processes.
• Prepare HR letters, reports and documents that simplify employee interactions.
• Participate in HR projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Management or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and comfortable communicating in English.
• Strong, clear and approachable communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a natural ability to bring structure.
• Enjoy working with people from diverse cultures.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or other HR platforms (preferred).
