HR Administration Officer (French Speaker)

About the role

SBM Offshore is looking for an HR Administration Officer who is fluent in French to manage the full employee lifecycle, from hiring through termination. You will support the HR department by ensuring accurate records, smooth onboarding, and efficient day‑to‑day HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general administrative tasks to keep HR processes running smoothly.
• Create, maintain, and update employee records, contracts, assignments, and performance data in SAP SuccessFactors.
• Organise and facilitate onboarding, coordinating with IT, Facilities, HSSE and other departments to prepare equipment, access and resources.
• Support HR Business Partners with data entry and reporting in the HRIS.
• Collect, deliver and archive all employee‑related documents such as employment agreements and personal files.
• Act as the HRIS User Champion, ensuring data quality and smooth daily operations.
• Provide level‑2 service‑desk support for internal and external HR inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration.
• 0‑3 years of experience in HR generalist roles (HR officer, HR coordinator, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing priorities and adapting to changing environments.
• Proactive, confident, hands‑on attitude with the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining high‑quality performance.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (or similar HRIS) – a plus but not mandatory.
