Group Lead Buyer – Professional Services (French Speaker)

About the role

The Group Lead Buyer for Professional Services will join BNP Paribas' Group Category team to optimise spend across multiple purchasing segments. Reporting to the Group Category Team Leader, the role oversees procurement strategy, supplier relationships and budget management for a portfolio that can reach several hundred million euros.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement procurement strategies and action plans for assigned segments.
• Lead multi‑functional teams and coordinate Entity Buyers and CPOs to execute major procurement projects.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations and contract execution while ensuring compliance with Group CSR policies.
• Monitor and report savings, spend, and performance indicators to internal stakeholders.
• Act as Single Point of Contact for designated internal customers, overseeing external spend and procurement committees.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic procurement or category management, preferably in professional services.
• Experience managing budgets of several hundred million euros with a global scope.
• Fluent French speaker with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results in a multinational environment.
