German-Speaking Payroll Analyst

About the role

ALEBS (Air Liquide Europe Business Services) is looking for a German-speaking Payroll Analyst to complete payroll runs and all related activities, from validation and salary disbursement to posting to Finance and statutory submissions, in line with agreed service levels and local country requirements. The role also covers monitoring payroll data quality, supporting audits and administering employee compensation such as bonuses and annual pay reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the payroll run and validate results, disburse salaries, post to Finance and submit statutory returns
• Prepare and monitor payroll data so that processes and data meet local country requirements and regulations
• Run payroll according to local country requirements and conduct start-of-year and end-of-year payroll administration with third parties
• Manage and maintain company payroll processes and respond to requests for changes to payroll data
• Monitor input data quality (rewards, performance, time and attendance) and its impact on payroll
• Administer disbursements, perform statutory collections, filing and reporting, and support audits and regulatory requests
• Administer employee compensation such as bonus calculation and annual pay review, and implement changes due to legislation
• Work with third-party providers to investigate payroll queries

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management, another social science or an administrative equivalent
• Fluent English and German (written and spoken) - mandatory
• HR administrative assistant experience recommended; shared services experience a plus
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and time constraints, and to handle confidential matters
• Extra languages such as Polish are valued
