Franchise Support Manager Portugal

About the role

The Franchise Support Manager will be the primary point of contact for our Portuguese franchise network, driving performance and growth through hands‑on operational support and strategic guidance. You will work closely with franchisees to boost their revenues, ensure successful onboarding, and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive day‑to‑day support to all Portuguese franchisees, ensuring they receive high‑quality service.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of marketing tools and initiatives; advise franchisees on events, campaigns and training.
• Lead onboarding for new franchisees, coordinate mentorship, schedule weekly progress calls and define action plans.
• Identify under‑performing or at‑risk franchisees and develop remediation plans to improve stability and profitability.
• Conduct regular accountability and support calls, monitor agreed actions and follow‑up on key priorities.
• Collaborate with the Head of EMEA to define growth strategies and implement business‑review meetings.
• Organise and deliver corporate updates, best‑practice webinars and online training sessions across the network.
• Support franchisees considering exit by creating clear pathways for improvement or transition.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with franchisees, preferably within a franchising environment.
• Can‑do attitude with the ability to manage own workload while adhering to established frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset and capability to drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, able to act as a trusted advisor.
• Agility to respond quickly to challenges and resolve issues effectively.
