Email Marketing Manager

About the role

This is a high‑impact opportunity for an Email Marketing Manager to shape customer relationships and drive long‑term growth for a fast‑growing consumer brand. Based in Portugal, you will own lifecycle marketing strategies across email, SMS, subscriptions, and retention initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale lifecycle marketing programs that improve retention, increase engagement, and maximize revenue across email and SMS channels.
• Own the email and SMS strategy, including campaign calendars, automated flows, and lifecycle communications.
• Build, optimize, and maintain customer journeys for welcome, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post‑purchase, cross‑sell, upsell, subscription, win‑back, and re‑engagement.
• Manage SMS campaigns and automations while continuously improving conversion performance.
• Create advanced segmentation and personalization strategies based on behavior and lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with creative, growth, product, and CX teams to develop compelling content.
• Establish an experimentation roadmap covering subject lines, offers, timing, segmentation, creative assets, and landing pages.
• Analyze performance metrics, build reporting dashboards, and communicate actionable insights.

Required profile

• Data‑driven lifecycle marketing professional with strong execution skills.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in email, SMS, or retention marketing.
• Proven ability to design and run high‑performing retention programs.
• Excellent analytical mindset and ability to translate data into strategy.
